Denis TrotmanDenis' involvement with technology began when he joined IBM
in 1959. At IBM he was involved in operations, programming, systems design and management.
In 1960, he helped install the first computer in New Zealand, for the NZ Treasury.
His interest in the use of IBM equipment for sharemarket analysis began at around the same
time, when he developed a programme for the analysis of price movements.
In 1964 he set up New Zealands first independent computer
bureau, Computer Services Ltd. He was also a director of Mana Systems Ltd, an early
exporter of New Zealand software to Australia and Japan.
His 40 years' experience in the computer industry and his constant search for new opportunities and applications make him uniquely qualified to offer sound investment advice in the field of technology.
He firmly believes

Trotman
B Sc. Dip Ed.After graduation, Gillian worked as a systems analyst and in the education
department of IBM. There followed an involvement in operations and programming for
Computer Services Ltd, and she was a secondary school teacher and principal. She has
more recently been involved in research for TECHstocks PORTFOLIOS LTD, setting up systems
to manage clients' portfolios and acting as a client advisor.
She is convinced that the superior performance of the
NASDAQ 100 is a compelling reason for all equity holders to have a substantial portion of
their portfolio in technology stocks. |
